Gluten-free Hamburger Buns Tutorial
This is for our Mom's Place Gluten Free 1-Hour Hamburger Bun Mix.
Combine all dry ingredients in a heavy duty mixer. Then in a medium bowl whisk eggs, vinegar and oil. If using milk substitute add that now. Add 1 cup warm water (115° - 125°). Add yeast. Turn mixer to low & add wet ingredients, mix a little at a time. The mixture should be the consistency of cake batter, use the remaining 3 Tablespoons water to achieve this texture. Turn mixer to high & beat for 3 ½ minutes.
Pour batter into prepared molds and cover with plastic wrap that has been oiled and let rise in a warm place about 30-35 minutes. Bake 20-25 minutes in a 350° oven.

Use with sloppy joes, pulled pork sandwiches, or
your favorite hamburger
I like to measure the temperature of the water with
a candy or meat thermometer.
Spray (6) 4 inch hamburger forms, and place them on a
cookie sheet. In a bowl , mix together the
eggs, vinegar, oil, warm water.
Open Hamburger Buns package and set aside yeast
and cornmeal packets. Add contents of package to
large mixer bowl or add your combined dry ingredients.
Then add yeast packet. Turn the mixer on low and slowly
add liquids to the mixer.
Once all ingredients are well mixed, Mix on high for 3 more
minutes. This should be the consistance of a thick cake
batter. Add water 1 Tbs. at a time to achieve this if necessary.
Divide batter between the 6 pans about a heaping 1/4 cup.
You can also use an alternative pan like a 4 inch pie pan.

Sprinkle with your desired toppings. Leave them plain,
use cornmeal or seasame seeds. Cornmeal comes in
the hamburger bun mix.
Cover with plastic wrap and allow to rise in a warm area for 30 min. Heat oven to 350 degrees
|All raised and beautiful, remove the plastic wrap and bake for 20-25 min.|
|All baked and golden brown. Remove from pans and cool.|
