Gluten Free Navajo Taco


Ingredients:

 

For the Scone Mix:

  • 1 ½ C Heavy Cream
  • ¾ C Water
  • 3 eggs
  • 4 Tbls butter
  • 2 tsp Pure Vanilla Extract
  • 2 Cups Cheese

 

For the Chili Seasoning:

  • 1 lb browned hamburger
  • 1 small onion
  • 2 (14 oz) cans pinto beans (drained)
  • 1-2 tsp sugar

 

Directions:

  1. Make Scones as indicated on the label for the “Navajo Taco” Version.
  2. Make Chili as indicated on the label.
  3. Cover a scone with chili and top with lettuce, cheese, sour cream & tomatoes. Enjoy!

 

*Note: Remember to check and make sure all of your ingredients are gluten-free--such as the cheese, beans, sour cream, mayonnaise, etc. We recommend buying bricks of cheese (not pre-grated), Daisy or Darigold Sour Cream, Kraft Mayonnaise, S&W Beans, etc. These can be found at Albertsons, Costco, Sam’s Club, or Walmart).
