Start this in the morning on your way out the door and have a hot, hearty beef stew for dinner. I love to prepare my meat and vegetables the night before and store them in the fridge till morning. Then I can quickly put it together for a no worry day. Pair it with Our Very Best Biscuits for a complete meal.
- 2 lb stew meat, cut in 1" cubes
- 1/4 C. Mom's Flour Blend (or your favorite gluten-free flour blend)
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 1 t. paprika
- 1/2 t. salt
- 1/2 t. pepper
- 1-1/2 water
- 1 t. worchesershire sauce
- 2 T. Mom's Gluten-Free Beef Bouillon
- 4 carrots sliced
- 3 potatoes, diced
- 1 onion chopped
- 1 stalk celery, sliced
Put meat in Crock-Pot. Mix flour, salt and pepper together.
Pour over meat; stir to coat meat with flour. Add remaining
ingredients and stir to mix well. Cover; cook on Low 8 to 10 hours
(High; 4 to 6 hours). Stir stew thoroughly before serving.
